House pictures in reverse order

The following four blogs were meant to go in reverse order. I can't quite figure out how to get them in the right order, so for now, scroll down to the "Llamas" and work you way up.
It's 'golb'ing instead of 'blog' ing. get it?

Still more house pics

The last of the house pics!

My favorite room... the mudroom.

L's room.

I know I shouldn't be proud, but I am really proud of our organized basement. The wall w/the cabinets will be painted green. (if you look really hard, you can see the paint swatch on top of the cabinets.)

the guest bedroom.

House Pictures

I can't figure out how to get more than five pics on a blog... maybe its a sign that I'm putting too many pictures out there... Oh well, let's continue with the tour....

I am far from finished getting settled, but I'm much closer than I was three months ago.

Is Your Mama A Llama?

Fall in Indiana means festivals of all sorts. Here are some pics of one of the many Pumpkin Fests and visiting a Llama farm... (hey, if you've got one to visit, might as well! It's not everyday you get to see llamas.)

Yet, more Fall pics

A great book for the Fall season is The Pumpkin Patch Parable. It is the story of a Farmer (God) and how He cares for the pumpkins (us). It's really a wonderful story!

Here you go Mom... a picture of the sweater after it's long journey across the ocean and who knows where else in the United States. (Rosemary kept dropping her's in the mulch, so it did not make the picture.)

Calling all decorators!

I need help picking a window treatment for our MB windows! I've gotten the rest of the house taken care of, but I'm stumped as to what to do w/ these windows. They face south and they are casement. (they have lovely temporary shades on them right now. Try to see past them :)I'm open to any suggestions. (also any decorating, furniture placement, bedding changes, etc ideas will be welcome!)

Some more Fall stuff

Hello! What is this a picture of you ask? Well, two things.... 1) the different colors we are considering for our living room and 2) a great idea passed on to me by Ann! Instead of painting the color on the walls, paint some mounting board. Then you can move it all around the room and see it in different light! pretty cool, huh?
It was cold one morning this week, so we donned our fuzzy boots. It didn't stay cold, so we took them off.
A nice discovery I made was Meyer's soap, available at Target, World Market and I think Williams-Sonoma. It smells great, lasts a long time and it will keep the germies away! If you want to make your home smell like Fall, get Williams-Sonoma's Spiced Chestnut soap.

Saturday, we went to the circus! Lilly loved it! And Rosemary loved the popcorn!

This rock has become the favorite place to sit in our yard! It came from the woods behind our house, (the landscapers moved it to our sideyard when they were grading our yard.) As you can see, it is a perfect place for two little girls to kick up their heels!
