Happy New Year!

We returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Florida yesterday.

I think Lilly summed it up best in her prayers last night. "God, thank you for our visit in Tampa and we are sad to be back in Indiana because You like Tampa b/c it is warm and You don't like Indiana b/c it is cold and we miss Tampa."

The Florida sunshine has renewed my hope and restored a positive prespective on life! (I'm sure being around family and friends had something to do with it too!)
Thank you to all of you that reminded me (Kevin and the kids too!) that we are loved and that God has a plan for us here in IN. I needed reminding!
We feel SO very blessed to know all of you and want you to know how treasured your friendships are! (this goes the same for friends we didn't get to visit with too.)

Those of you in Florida... Do Not Take the Sunshine for Granted! Thank God for it! And remember, wear your sunscreen :).
Happy New Year!

Let It Snow...

Well, we set a new record for snow fall in December... how lucky for us that we get to be here to experience it. (can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?) It snowed for seven hours today. Nonstop. That's ALOT of snow! It was very pretty, but now the wind is blowing all the snow down the street. (I guess that's what they call a "snowdrift".) Here are some pictures of today's snow and other shots from the past couple of weeks. (Don't worry Ida, no pictures of dog poop.)

Rosemary in the middle of our driveway.
(I think she hates wearing mittens more
than cold!)

This is the beautiful plant that Kevin's Dad and his wife sent me for my birthday.
Thanks again David and Denise!

Just one of some really cute pictures Kevin took!

This was taken back in early November. I never thought I'd see beautiful sunsets in Indiana, but see for yourself... different from Florida, but none the less spectacular!!!
